Tax Preparation, with over 20 years experience serving clients all over the U.S. It’s not just number crunching, it’s about helping you. In addition, my partner was a Trust Officer at JP Morgan, bringing expertise in estate planning, investments, and banking.

I listen to clients, then offer problem solving. I serve a smaller number of people, giving a higher level of service, making sure clients understand their tax returns and results. Skilled at at preparing multi-year returns, for those who need help catching up. 

My process is more interactive: I review the prior year’s return, looking for any carry-forwards, then prepare a draft return using your original source material. I ask questions, and when we’re both satisfied, I provide you with a draft copy for review. You sign the electronic declaration, I file the return, and send you an invoice.

I work from a home office on the north side of Chicago, and occasionally from downtown. Let’s set up a call; then communicate via email thereafter.

We are accepting new clients for the 2023 tax filing season. Despite our fancy tagline, tax prep is still our bread and butter.

We use a secure client portal, Dropbox, and a secured snail mail service to protect your sensitive documents. This also allows us to serve clients all over the US.

Bookkeeping

Even solopreneurs need help with organizing their finances. We have a QuickBooks expert on call, on staff, ready to set you up. Her name is Amy, and she’s worked for non-profits, retailers, and professionals for 15+ years.
